This year’s Tridion Expert Summit took place on a virtual stage and was ceremoniously kicked off by Frank Closset (Head of R&D Tridion DX, RWS) who made the opening speech and briefly walked us through the Day 1 agenda.

The theme was Semantic AI’s capabilities with a focus on Tridion items analysis through BI practices, UI improvements in Sites 9.6, connector architecture, and more.

Here are some of the Day 1 highlights for TXS2021 EMEA.

Keynote with RWS Chief Technology Officer

Azad Ootam (Chief Technology Officer, RWS) highlighted the recent Tridion enhancements, including the Semantic AI capabilities and its benefits for Tridion users.

Future proof your content with Semantic AI in Tridion

Joe Pairman (Senior Product Producer, RWS), Philippe Conil (Senior Solutions Architect, RWS), and Arno van Nijnatten (Senior Product Manager, RWS) presented a combined session on Semantic AI mapping.

Together they explained how to map critical content to knowledge models and the way it supports an organization’s decision making. They also provided some great examples of smart tagging, faceted search, and concept-based search.

The Semantic Content Hub: Transforming unstructured data into comprehensive knowledge discovery

To continue the conversation around Semantic AI mapping Florian Bauer (Chief Solutions Officer, Semantic Web Company) explained the daily challenges that organizations face when trying to analyze their content and data.

In his talk, Bauer discussed the different semantic tools available for managing unstructured data and provided a step-by-step guide on how to create content hubs that benefit from semantic technologies.

This latest release is also user-friendly and simplifies the upgrade process.

Maximizing your Tridion Content through BI

Our very own Pankaj Gaur (Principal Consultant/Director, Content Bloom) gave an exceptionally great (and we’re not even being bias here) demo on Tridion’s Power BI integration.

He demonstrated the ways we can visualize Tridion content using business intelligence and how it can better enable data-driven decisions rooted, which ultimately improves the estimation process when forecasting business goals.

Enabling multi-channel content through connectors

Niclas Cedermalm (Product Manager, RWS) presented on Tridion connectors.

He dissected the ways in which these connectors can be one of the most powerful integration points because it allows omni-channel content distribution and reuse.
